If you have a toilet that blocks regularly & no other fixture in the home is blocked, you don't flush sanitary items or use too much toilet paper, then you may have a problem that can be easily fixed.

Moyle Plumbing have seen an increase in toilets blocking in new homes. On further inspection, the problem has often found to be caused by an off set pan connector which is not allowing toilet paper to get past the off set & causing the toilet to block.

An offset pan connection is used to center a toilet in the room & it connects & seals the toilet to the sewer outlet.

The sewer connection should be 100 mm, but when some pan connectors are used, the diameter is greatly reduced down to 60 mm or sometimes as little as 40 mm.
To determine if this is the cause of your toilet blocking regularly, we may have to lift the toilet pan off the floor to investigate further.
